SOULS-West visits the Angeles foothills...

Recently the Living Stones and Sunland/Tujunga churches invited SOULS-West students to canvass in the foothills. They worked here for two weeks covering almost 13,000 homes. They performed the Sabbath service for the Sunland/Tujunga church on the 7th, and shared several of their experiences. One student, while working in Glendale's business district, left books in a palm reader's store, a great controversy with a man in a bar, and a Final Events DVD* with an agnostic! They found 18 people interested in Bible studies and many more that would like other services by local churches.

La Sierra University Magabook Program has begun...

Teddy Knapp and Susan Santos are back at La Sierra providing LSU students with the oportunity to do ministry and earn the best wages on campus. Magabook students constently earn $15 per hr. or more plus the 100% matching scholarhsip that LSU provides. The program is in full swing, but there is always room for more so don't hesitate to call. You don't have to have any previous experience, you just need to be teachable, willing to commit 12 hrs. a week, in love with Jesus, and hard working.
